Todays' trip down memory lane takes us painfully to Sunday March 8th 2015. The reserves, with a full side and two subs, played host to Long Eaton Magpies, who turned up for the match with eight players. Magpies played a 4-2-1 formation until a ninth man turned up and made it 4-3-1.
The reserves were somehow unable to break down the magpies team, who themselves probably had the best chance to win the match. A 0-0 draw a sobering reminder of how mental state and attitude can influence a match.
The following week there was no match, which allowed time for reflection, followed by a much more positive result.
