This weekend sees some potentially season defining matches for our teams.
Firstly, the firsts host local rivals Three Horseshoes in a match that, should they win, will keep them in the Premier division. If they draw, they'll need a point from two matches against Attenborough Cavaliers. Lose, and its two points to take from cavs.
The reserves go to West Park where they face Long Eaton Magpies. A win guarantees them winning the league with two matches to spare. A draw, leaves them needing at least a draw the following week in the home match against the same opposition. A defeat would see them needing a home win the following week.
The veterans match against Beeston Old Boys has been postponed, so they have to wait a little longer to be crowned back to back league champions
The under 12's host Collingham Tigers, knowing that a win this week and in their next fixture would clinch the league title with a match to spare.
All simple in theory.... The opposition in each case will have something to say and no match between now and the end of the season will be taken lightly.
